There are lots of lovely locations to hold family photo sessions in South Delta, but sometimes the best location is the one closest to home! Or, even better, IS home!

That’s exactly what we did for Jessi’s family session in Beach Grove. We met in their very own backyard, complete with fruit trees and a vegetable garden and lots of space for her girls to run around and explore. As I pulled up to their home, I could see her eldest daughter’s face peeking out of the front window in excitement, and her enthusiasm stayed pretty much at that level the entire time!

That little girl kept all of us entertained, loving every single second of my ridiculous photo prompts and silly suggestions. She was full of boundless energy – jumping, running, climbing, dancing, spinning – and after we were all done with photos, she wanted me to stay and play! Sadly, I had to get back to my own family, but I smiled my whole way through editing their collection, as I looked back as this fun-filled afternoon.
