If you’ve been paying close attention to my website, you might recognize a couple of these beauties from a Mother’s Day session earlier this year! Monica and her truly adorable daughter took part in my Mother’s Day Pay-What-You-Can sessions at Diefenbaker Park in May, and I was thrilled to welcome them back with dad and family dog at Centennial Beach for a full family session in June.

We met up just before dinnertime on a lovely, sunny, weekday evening. It was the perfect night – not too hot, not too cold, and not too busy down at the beach!

This year, I’ve started a lot of my sessions up closer to the greenery near the parking lots, to add some diversity to the backdrops in my family sessions. So, we found a lovely patch of grass with some pretty light and starting snapping away! Monica’s daughter is just so easy to photograph – big, beautiful brown eyes, and a lovely, curious demeanour. I truly adore the photos we captured for them.
