I couldn’t have asked for a more GORGEOUS late fall afternoon for this headshot session, down at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen. It was a bit windy, but once I met up with the lovely Maureen, we managed to find the perfect little spot, tucked in behind some shrubbery, and right in front of the duck pond, which was backlit by the beautiful afternoon sun, glinting off the willow trees. It was the perfect spot, on the perfect afternoon, with a perfectly willing participant!

Maureen is on the cusp of launching a brand new business, providing home health care services for South Delta locals, and I know she is going to be incredibly successful. She was warm and kind from the moment I first chatted with her on the phone, and this carried over into her session. Well-prepared, keen and open to suggestions, photographing Maureen was so easy. We chatted and laughed and every now and then I gasped at the combination of the gorgeous afternoon light and her stunning blue eyes.

I’m so excited for Maureen to launch her business! And I’m thrilled that she chose me to help capture her beautiful spirit and welcoming demeanour for her new website.
