This is my FAVOURITE time of year! When the daffodils and tulips and heather and hyacinths start blooming, my heart comes alive. The air is fresher, the colours are brighter and there’s definitely an extra skip in my step. I absolutely adore springtime.
As Mother Nature comes out of hibernation, my wheels start turning and I start looking forward to all the fun things I have planned for the spring and summer. And I thought I’d share them with you! So, if you’re been wondering what’s happening with Mother’s Day minis, or when sunset sessions will go on sale, this is the post for you!!

Pay-What-You-Can Mother’s Day Minis
Yes! These will be happening again this year! I have taken it easy for much of the early spring, but I will be announcing registration for my Pay-What-You-Can Mother’s Day Minis on Thursday, April 21st (make sure you’re on my mailing list by registering HERE). These sessions will be taking place on the afternoons of Mother’s Day and the day after – Sunday, May 8th and Monday, May 9th. And yes, they really are pay-what-you-can!
Sunset Sessions
These will also be happening again this year! My summer is already starting to look a bit hectic so I will likely be offering fewer session times, BUT I will be offering discounted pre-bookings to my past client mailing list (if you’ve had a session with me in the past, you are already on this list). This announcement will happen very soon!
For the general public, sunset sessions will be announced in early June, so make sure you’re registered on my mailing list if you’d like to snap one up! Session times will be offered throughout the summer months.
Grad Sessions at Sunset
Of course these will be happening again! If you’ve got a graduate of any kind in your life (grade 7, middle school, high school, college, university), this is an awesome time to celebrate their accomplishments and achievements! Graduate sessions take place at sunset at Centennial Beach and will be announced to my mailing list in early May. Again, make sure you’re on that list so that you’ll be the first to know!
Kids’ Photography Summer Camp
Sadly, this is the only update on my list that isn’t joyful. After many months of debate and waffling back-and-forth, I have decided not to run a kids’ photography summer camp this year. I had SO MUCH FUN last year, but this summer is already looking quite busy and I’m not sure my schedule can handle running a summer camp again, without losing a large chunk of my sanity. I do hope to revisit this idea in the future, and have also been toying with the idea of a once-a-week photography class during the school year and also offering one-on-one photography lessons for kids. If either of those things are something you would be interested in, please let me know!
