I love my annual people! I’ve been photographing Michelle and her kids during my Mother’s Day sessions for quite a few years now and it’s always so lovely to see her and them. And I especially love that even as her kids get older, they are still keen and willing to participate in an annual photo shoot with their mom – such a perfect keepsake as they grow up and embark on new and independent adventures.

Diefenbaker Park in Tsawwassen was at its peak glory for this session, with perfect sunlight filtering through the willow tree, and even though there was still a bit of springtime chill in the air, it still felt warm and comfortable on the pond banks. It still meant that mom had to do a bit of cuddly and cajoling to keep everyone warm and happy, but, as always, we ended up with some beautiful images for Michelle’s annual session.
