Mother’s Day sessions are some of my favourite sessions of the year. As a mother myself, I know how hard it is to get a decent photo of myself and my son! So many of them are ridiculous selfies, or crooked, off-centred photos that my kiddo took, or quick snaps that the hubby actually remembered to take. We don’t often take the opportunity or the time to feel beautiful and get in front of the camera with our children. That’s why I love it when so many moms take the time to do this for themselves and their children during my Mother’s Day minis.

This is the second year that I’ve had the honour and the pleasure of photographing Monica and her little girl. They have such a lovely relationship and bond – so many snuggles, so much playfulness, so many laughs and giggles. Their session always goes by in a flash, and I’m left with dozens and dozens of lovely images to send to Monica.
