It’s FINALLY summer! Doesn’t it feel like we waited forever for it?!

Truthfully, spring is actually my favourite season of the year. It always feels so hopeful, as plants start to bud and bloom and the weather (hopefully) warms up. Everything is green and full of life and promise. I always feel like I’m coming out of a cocoon and the world is just waiting, in all its colour and glory, to greet me.

Spring is also when my business comes out of hibernation. I do work throughout the winter but the family photo requests drop to a minimum (I mean, who wants photos in the rainy muck of winter?), and I usually spend much of my time catching up on all the administrative and non-photography “stuff” that running this business entails.

Now that spring has passed us by and summer is upon us, things really get rolling! My summer sunset schedule fills up (only a few spots left – grab yours!), and our family starts to get ready for summer holidays and spending oodles of time together.

This summer, I will be taking a large part of July off to travel with my family. The rest of July is mostly booked up, but I do still have 2 sunset sessions left on Monday, July 25th and Wednesday, July 27th (both at 8:15pm). August is also looking pretty full, with just one sunset spot left on Monday, August 8th – could it be yours?? (Again, here’s the booking link)

Even though sunset sessions are my main focus in the summer, I am still available for daytime family portrait sessions, extended family sessions, maternity & newborn sessions, and headshot bookings. Make sure you reach out as soon as possible to get those dates on the calendar, as it’s starting to fill up! You can find all the details about my various portrait package on my Session Info page.

And of course, I’m already starting to think about and plan for the fall, with Fall Family Mini sessions being plotting out on my calendar and other commitments being plotted in. Make sure you’re on my mailing list if you want to be kept up-to-date on fall specials and promotions!
