This summer has been a time for families. A time to reunite with loved ones from far away, after two years of not being able to travel. Two years of only connecting over Zoom. Two years without in-person hugs. Two years of watching grandkids grow up via FaceTime.

Two years of lots of catching up!

I’ve had the pleasure and honour of photographing SO many extended families this summer, as everyone starts to connect in person again, and it’s been so joyful. Megan’s family came from far and wide to gather in July, and what better way to commemorate this gathering than with some family photos at the beautiful Boundary Bay Regional Park in Tsawwassen. Three siblings and their families were able to come together and capture some great images for their mom and her grandkids.

And boy, was grandma in her element! So many grandkids to hug and snuggle and celebrate! A big, warm thank-you to Megan and all of her extended family for choosing me to help capture this wonderful reunion 🙂
