Weddings are back! And boy do I love me a good ol’ barn wedding, with amazing & kind people on a gorgeously sunny day!

I met Robin a few years back when I had the privilege of photographing her eldest daughter for grad 2020 (remember when all the fun grad stuff was canceled? Thanks Covid!). I completely hit it off with her daughters, Alex (the grad) and Heather, as well as Robin herself, and have been thrilled to continue to run into Robin at various Delta Youth Theatre events and shows. She’s a very warm-hearted and lovely person, and you can just feel her caring nature radiating off of her. So, of course, when she asked if I would photograph her wedding, I could not wait!

Robin & Peter gathered with dozens of their friends and family in a rustic barn on Westham Island for their celebration. This picturesque location was the perfect backdrop for their beautiful, heartfelt ceremony, as well as their family photos and party afterwards. You could tell that Robin & Peter were both in their element, just soaking up all of the love and well wishes, and truly enjoying each other company on what can sometimes be a stressful day. But even though the energy was high on their wedding day, it felt easy and relaxed – no signs of stress anywhere!
