Most of the people I get photograph are amazing to work with. But every now and then, I come across a couple or a family that I’m just truly meant to connect with – like Britt & Miguel. I had met Britt previously when I photographed some of her extended family, but at her sunset maternity session with her partner Miguel, she truly lit up. I’ve honestly never photographed a couple who laughed so much together and brought so much joy to their photos.

It’s obvious these two are extremely excited about their new arrival coming at the end of the summer – but it’s also obvious that they truly enjoy spending time together and being in one another’s company. They were both so comfortable in front of the camera, and it was not hard to catch them in adorable moments that just kept me grinning all throughout editing their session. Even better – I get to work with them again when their new baby is born!

I cannot wait photograph Britt and Miguel and their new little family. A huge thank you to the both of them for trusting me with this precious and exciting time in their lives!
