I hope no one is getting tired of beautiful sunset sessions! Because I have oodles more to come. It’s been one of the most epic sunset seasons ever – clear skies, no wildfire smoke, and stunningly beautiful, fun-loving families, totally ready to capture beautiful memories.

I’ve been so privileged to photograph Monica and her little family for the last few years, but this is the first time we’ve met to do a sunset session, and it suited them perfectly. Monica’s daughter is a tiny little firecracker, full of endless energy and goofiness – which is what I adore during a sunset session. Because these are your run-of-the-mill, smile-and-look-at-the-camera type sessions, I want kids to be free to be themselves. I want them to run around, and not pay attention, and make funny faces and be their natural little fun-loving selves. Which was certainly not a problem for this adorable little girl.

We laughed, we played, we had tickle fights and played in the sand and snuggled the dog and had a marvellously goofy time together. I am so thrilled with the images we captured! Thank you Monica and family!
