It was literally the only time this September when a session was almost foiled by rain – but we made it happen!

Aleksandra was determined to beat Mother Nature at her own game, by holding her extended family photo session anyways, even though rain showers were in the forecast. And as luck would have it, the rain didn’t deter us at all! We experienced a bit of drizzle throughout our time together, but this beautiful tree in Southlands provided us with fabulous shelter for that teensy bit of rain, and for the most part, we barely saw any droplets falling from the sky!

So, all in all, this session was a huge hit! As with all my extended family sessions, we were able to capture the entire group, plus each individual family grouping, and many other arrangements of family members. And Aleksandra did such a great job of coordinating the family outfits that no one ever looked out of place or uncomfortable – their autumn palette was perfect for this somewhat dreary September morning.
