As I sit here typing this, it’s a cloudy October day – the first one we’ve had so far, in an unusually sunny autumn. Today was the first day that it truly felt like fall has arrived – and yet, I still have SO many summer sunset sessions to highlight here! Revisiting them as I create posts makes me realize what an incredibly beautiful summer we had in 2022.

Angela’s family sunset session is one more session from the month of August that had truly perfect weather. A lovely warm breeze, the golden glow on the fields and an epic pink, twilight hour right before it got too dark. Her boys have grown up since I last saw them, less full of silly antics, but still young enough to not get too brooding and teenager-y during my time photographing them. In fact, they were full of conversation and questions, which I’ve grown to really love when working with kids.

These were some of Angela’s favourite images from her session, and I’m sure it must have been difficult to choose! With Mother Nature giving us such a show of beautiful colours, and her kids in great spirits, it was a really lovely session and I’m thrilled with how their images turned out!
