Another successful holiday season has come and gone here at eran jayne photography and although Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, I’m still revelling in the quiet and downtime that this time of year brings. No photo shoots on the calendar, no editing to be done, no booking inquiries left hanging – just some much-needed together time with my family and friends.

But that doesn’t mean that I can’t schedule some cute Holiday Mini photos to come out on my photoblog! (as I type this, it’s still 10 days before Christmas and I’m deep into planning mode so I can enjoy some downtime over the holidays, lol!).

This year, I decided to move my Holiday Mini sessions out of my home studio – which can be chaos with 3 cats and two other humans that also live in my space!) – and into the borrowed space at Chang’s Taekwondo in downtown Tsawwassen. It was the perfect spot this year because I splurged and bought a 10ft tall backdrop which needed a LOT of space! I kept my advertising rather low-key for this year’s mini sessions, as November was already a fairly hectic month for me. And truth be told, I’m not sure what 2023 will bring for me in terms of Holiday Mini sessions. But I’m still glad I was able to connect with the handful of families that came out for this year’s sessions.
