Happy New Year, one and all! I hope that everyone has had a fun and restful holiday season. We definitely turned down the volume and activity levels at our house, and it was glorious. Those days between Christmas and New Year’s, when you’re not quite sure what day of trhe week it is or when you last showered, are some of my favourite days of the year.

But alas, it has to end sometime, but thankfully it has ended with me featuring this lovely family on my photoblog. Regular clients (and friends) for many, many years, I’m always glad to see the Allen family. And although I think *they think* their sessions are always chaotic and crazy, I’m never worried about capturing fun and memorable photos for them (I’m not sharing the kid-butt photo that graced the cover of their private online album this year, but thinking of it, always makes me laugh!) (P.S. It wasn’t a naked kid-butt – just a goofball kid showing off, lol!).

The best part is, they are always up for a laugh, and I know I can send them those total goofball photos and they’re going to love them as much as I do. They’re pretty much my ideal photography clients and I’m so grateful that they continue to come back, year after year. Look at those gorgeous faces!
