It had been awhile since I had seen Jen and her family for a photography session so imagine my surprise when she emailed to say that they had a new addition to their family! Of course, they needed new family photos and thankfully the day we chose gave us a lovely spring afternoon, where the daffodils and tulips were in full bloom at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver.

You’d never guess that for pretty much every photo that we took, we had an audience of park-goers who had also ventured out to enjoy the nice weather at this central Vancouver location. Jen’s kids were more than happy to entertain them with silly faces and adorable doting on their new baby brother. Even the family dog was content to sit and pose for the many people who stopped to admire this lovely family.

I am so grateful to the families who continue to trust me with their family photo sessions. It’s an honour for me to watch your children grow and change in front of my camera lens 🙂
