Daffodils, sunshine and a super smiley baby – what could be better for this lovely family session at Deas Island Park in Ladner? I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Lindsay’s family for many, many years and every single session is full of laughter, silliness and so much love. I’ve watched her kids grow from teeny babies and toddlers to caring and adorably goofy children. We’ve laughed through sessions with tea parties and dinosaurs and live bunnies and magical fairy forests (not all at once, thankfully!), and I always know that when I leave a photo session with them, I’m going to have a big smile on my face.

I think what I love most about Lindsay is that she treasures the adorably goofy photos just as much as the heartwarming and perfectly posed images. Because that’s real life, right? And being able to look back on these real life moments, year after year, is truly a treasure that neither she nor I take for granted.
