I sometimes wonder if the families that I’ve seen year after year at sunset sessions will continue to be able to convince their kids to do family photos when they hit their teenage years….I’ve seen less teenagers at my sunset sessions this year, and I miss them! But I also can’t complain about the school-age kids, who have been at almost every family session this summer. Engaging, funny, great listeners, slightly goofy, and totally ready to make beautiful photos!

Rachel’s family has been doing sunset sessions for a number of years, and as her girls grow older, I love working with them more & more (if that’s even possible!). When one is quiet, the other is loud. When one is goofy, the other is reserved. When one is laughing, the other is serious. And it switches all the time! But they always get along, and they always make me giggle, and we ALWAYS get great images.

It was a gorgeous night at Centennial for Rachel’s family, but I know that, rain or shine, I’m always going to love my session with her family and she’s always going to end up with gorgeous family memories to treasure for years to come!
