There is truly nothing like visiting a couple’s home in the first few days after their newborn baby is born. Oftentimes, it feels like you are be invited into sacred territory, a place where hardly anyone else has been, except perhaps immediate family members. Life is a little bit quieter, a little bit slower; everything and everyone revolves around this tiny new being. They are the centre of the universe for this beautiful slice of time.

And baby J was certainly the centre of the universe for these two, who could barely keep their eyes of his gorgeous little face the entire time I was with them. But I couldn’t blame them! His face was absolutely adorable and he certainly showed me every expression imaginable during my time with them. He was curious and relaxed and so very content. Even the dog loved him!

I am over-the-moon in love with the photos we captured from this newborn session. I feel like we captured the quiet, magic of life with baby J perfectly and I’m so grateful that his parents allowed me into their world for a few hours!
