Man oh man, do I love the people that I get to see every year (and sometimes more than once a year)! Andrea’s extended family of 6 makes the trek from Vancouver every summer to come wander the fields and beaches of Centennial Beach with me. The two grandmothers are best buddies and usually they travel together in one of their sporty little Mazda Miatas, and it puts a smile on my face every time I pull into the parking lot!

And her two boys! Both of them are utterly charming little chatterboxes, full of random facts and stories and photo ideas (we had a whole series of shoe photos this year), and it just makes my heart full to work with them.

We had one of the best nights for weather this year – clear and sunny, not too hot, not too cold. We had the golden glow on the fields, plus the pink haze over the water – it was absolute perfection – and their photos turned out perfectly.
