Sigh! We are well into October now, so gone are the days of the warm, breezy sunset sessions. But that doesn’t mean I can’t continue to share them with you here!

I met up with Kyla and her family at the very end of August, in those last few days of sunshine before the reality of back-to-school sets in. It was a gorgeous night down at Centennial Beach, and I’m pretty sure there were a couple other photographers out that evening as well, making the most of the last hurrah of summer. Everyone was in great spirits, including her two adorable boys who were full of stories and random facts for me.

I was especially loving the earthy green and tan colours that Kyla and her family chose for their outfits. I don’t see these colours too often at a sunset session and they just seemed to suit the day so well, as we bridged the gap between the end of summer and soon-to-be-beginning of fall.

I’m already nostalgic for these lovely sunset sessions and truthfully, can’t wait until next year!
