The fall foliage was out in full colour for this beautiful session at Deas Island Regional Park with Caroline, her husband and her sweet beagle. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we scheduled this session for late October, but no one was disappointed! This gorgeous tree was totally ready to show off for us, just outside the Burvilla Heritage Home and with all the leaves covering the ground, it was impossible to tell that we were actually standing in a driveway for these photos!
I truly enjoyed photographing this lovely trio. It was obvious that all three of them thrive off of spending time together – they often walk the trails of Deas Island together and were very excited to do their photo shoot there, where they spend so much time together. And although their cute puppy had much more exciting things to do and smell, rather than pose for a photo, I’m still totally thrilled with all the photos we captured for this charming little family.
And note to self – sessions in late fall still have great colour! Looking forward to next year!
