Capturing the Magic: Delta Youth Theatre’s The Music Man Jr. Promo Shoot

There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a theatre on the brink of a brand new show! I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing promotional images for Delta Youth Theatre’s upcoming production of The Music Man Jr., which runs from May 2–11, 2025 at the Equinox Theatre at SDSS.

Our shoot took place on a chaotic but incredibly fun morning, filled with laughter, last-minute costume fixes, and a whole lot of excitement. With performers from all four casts—including Harold Hill, Marian Paroo, Winthrop Paroo, and the fabulous Pick-a-Little ladies—there was never a dull moment. Between chasing down cast members, touching up makeup, and adjusting costumes, we managed to capture some truly amazing moments that showcase the energy and heart these young performers are bringing to the stage.

Despite the hustle and bustle (and a lot of running around!), the photos turned out beautifully. They offer just a glimpse of the talent, charm, and hard work that Delta Youth Theatre is known for. If our morning together is any indication, audiences are in for an unforgettable show!
