You know that scene in Friends when Ross yells “Pivot!” while trying to maneuver a couch up a staircase? That’s exactly how I’ve been feeling about my spring sessions lately.
I started this season offering Mom + Me Studio Sessions and Spring Minis, and while those options are still available for anyone who wants them, the truth is — they weren’t selling as well as I’d hoped. I poured love and energy into those ideas, but something just didn’t click. It felt like I hadn’t quite hit the nail on the head, and that’s never a great feeling.
But then, a lightbulb moment — quite literally — happened in my own backyard.
I was standing outside in the golden glow of evening, surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery, when I thought, “This is it. This is the feeling I’ve been trying to create.” So, I’m pulling a Ross and I’m pivoting. And honestly? I’m really excited about it.
Backyard Minis are my new offering for May — sweet, 15-minute outdoor sessions in my own backyard on select Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings, when the light is golden and dreamy. Each session is only $125 + GST includes your choice of two edited digital images, selected from an online preview gallery (additional images available for purchase).
