The Williams Crew Brings the Fun (and the Laughs!) to Fall Photos

After so many years photographing the Williams crew, their annual fall mini session has become one of my favourite traditions. From our early “Mom & Me” sessions to acting and corporate headshots and, of course, their yearly family photos, it’s been such a joy watching this family grow and change, while still bringing that same spark of fun every time they step in front of my camera.

We met at Diefenbaker Park in Tsawwassen on a gorgeous fall day, surrounded by warm light and crunchy leaves. Each of the three Williams girls brought her own distinct energy to the session, from attitude to sense of humour to individual style and together, they created that perfect blend of playful chaos that makes family photography so much fun.

And of course, no Williams family session would be complete without the moment that’s become their signature tradition: Dad lifting Mom in a burst of laughter. It’s always my favourite shot of the day – not because it’s perfectly posed, but because it captures exactly who they are. Real joy, real connection, and a family who genuinely enjoys being together.

Every year, the Williams family reminds me why I love fall family sessions. Their shoots are always full of fun, personality, and laughter and I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
