Happy New Year, friends! I hope you had a cozy, joyful holiday season and are feeling refreshed as we step into a brand-new year together.
I had a truly lovely holiday break filled with family time at home and visiting in-laws in Ontario, followed by a much-needed sunny escape to Cancun with just me and my boys. It was exactly what my heart needed before diving back into the brand new year.
Of course, since getting home, it’s been all about real life again — unpacking, laundry, groceries, back-to-school, more laundry, and a good round of decluttering. You know the drill!
I’ve also been hunkered down working on my Yearly Marketing Plan, which I create every year to map out dates, offerings, and all the fun things I want to bring to you throughout the year. So a huge thank-you to everyone who filled out my survey at the end of last year — your feedback truly helped shape what I’m offering in 2026. I’m so grateful for your input.

Yes, it’s true! It’s the perfect time to refresh your online presence, update your LinkedIn, website, or bio photos, and start the year feeling confident and current — all at half the usual investment.
Early Bird Sunset Sale – late March
My Early Bird Sunset Session Sale will be going live around spring break and these limited sessions are always a favourite. Only a handful will be available at a special discounted rate!
Backyard Mini Sessions – Spring Bloom
When my backyard is in full spring bloom, I’ll be offering limited backyard mini sessions. These are sweet, simple, and perfect for quick seasonal updates, kids, and families.
Sunset Grad Sessions – May/June
For graduating students, sunset grad sessions are such a beautiful way to mark this milestone. These sessions focus on personality, confidence, and capturing this exciting moment before the next chapter begins.
Summer Sunset Sessions – June thru September
My signature sunset sessions will be running all summer long, with hopes of adding a few Vancouver dates into the mix this year again. Warm light, golden skies, and relaxed evenings make these sessions an absolute favourite.
Fall Minis – late Sept/early Oct
Fall minis will be back again for those cozy, colourful autumn portraits you all love. These are perfect for updating family photos before the busy holiday season arrives.
Possible Bonus Fall Minis – early November
I’m also considering adding an extra round of fall minis in early November with a fun twist — “Bring Your Own Christmas!” Think festive sweaters, hats, and personal holiday props for a few early Christmas-ready photos.
