You spent months preparing for this. The dress (or the suit, the outfit, the whole look). The hair appointment you booked back in February. The makeup. The accessories. And then prom happened, or the ceremony happened, and it was over in a flash.
So – did you actually get photos you love?
If the answer is “kind of” or “not really” or “I have some blurry ones from the event,” then keep reading. Because a dedicated grad sunset session might be just what you’re missing.

Golden Hour Was Made for This Moment
There’s a reason professional photographers are a little obsessed with golden hour. That soft, warm, glowy light that happens in the last hour before sunset? It does things for photos that no studio flash or overhead gym lighting ever could. It’s flattering. It’s cinematic. It’s the kind of light that makes you look like you belong on the cover of something.
A grad sunset session is built entirely around that light. We head out to a beautiful location — think open fields, beachy views, lush greenery — and we shoot during the best light of the entire day. The result is photos that actually look like you, on one of the most exciting milestones of your life, in a setting that feels intentional and beautiful rather than rushed.

You Don’t Have to Wear the Dress Just Once
Here’s the thing that kills me a little: so many grads spend a significant amount of money on an outfit they wear for a few hours, in a venue with overhead fluorescent lighting, while also trying to eat dinner and take selfies with friends.
That’s not a photo session. That’s just life happening fast.
A sunset session gives you the chance to actually use that dress (or suit, or whatever you wore) for something it deserves – a dedicated hour (or more) where the whole point is getting you stunning photos. You get to move slowly. Pose intentionally. Laugh without worrying about being in someone else’s frame.
Don’t let that outfit collect dust after one wear. Let’s take it somewhere beautiful.

Prom is Over. Grad is Done. But the Photos Don’t Have to Be.
If your prom has already happened – if convocation is behind you, if the celebrations have wound down – this is especially for you.
It is not too late.
In fact, now might be the perfect time. The pressure of the season is off. You can exhale. And we have all summer to find a golden evening, a gorgeous location, and the light that makes everything look like magic.
Grad sunset sessions are available with me all summer long, so there’s no rush and no reason to feel like you missed your window. Whether you graduated last week or two months ago, you still deserve photos that actually do this moment justice.

What to Expect
A grad sunset session with me is relaxed, fun, and 100% all about YOU. We’ll spend about 45 minutes (sometimes more) shooting as the light shifts and gets more beautiful by the minute, exploring the fields, trails and beaches of Centennial Beach.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need modelling experience. You just need to show up, and I’ll take care of the rest.
