This July, Caroline came to my home studio for a business headshot session, and it ended up being one of those sessions where the photos were great but the conversation was the real highlight.

Caroline found me through a referral from the amazing Jenn Hoskins, who I photographed earlier this year. Caroline and Jenn work together at a funeral services provider, and it’s always such a nice compliment when a past client sends someone my way.

From the moment she arrived, Caroline was warm, easy to talk to, and just genuinely lovely to be around. We ended up chatting about all kinds of things during her session, but one of my favourite parts of the conversation was hearing her talk about the close relationship she has with her daughter. You could tell just from the way she spoke about it how special that bond is.

We also got to talking travel, since I had a trip to Sweden coming up in August. Caroline had recently been herself and had so many great things to say about it that she got me even more excited for the trip than I already was.

A huge thank you to Caroline for pointing me toward the Vasa Museum in Stockholm – it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of my time in Sweden!
