By design, I only photograph a few weddings a year. As a busy mom, I don’t like working all day for more than a couple weekends a year, as I’d prefer to spend time with my family. But luckily, I always seem to attract wedding photography clients that “get” this, and who really seem to jive with my brand and my personality.
I met Laurie a few years ago when I did headshots for the First Nationals Financial Management Board, and I was flattered to hear that she contacted me regarding her wedding photography because she remembered my energy and personality. Each of my wedding photography packages includes a complimentary engagement session, so I was excited to meet up with Laurie again and get to know her and her fiancé Joe a little bit better. We met up at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver on a busy, sunny, autumn day and spent a good hour, wandering the park and stopping to capture the images below, in advance of their wedding celebration next spring.
