For the most part, I’ve handled all this social distancing pretty well. I’m an introvert at heart, and staying home, doing puzzle after puzzle, reading books, gardening and cooking was right up my alley!
But I’ll admit – I have missed the hugs. Especially the hugs from my dear friend, Vista. Seeing her on Mother’s Day was, of course, an absolute treat, but it was so incredibly odd not to be rushed into one of her loveable hugs when she got out of her car. We air-hugged from 6 ft away, but it just wasn’t the same!
Thankfully, she has had a house full of people to hug during this bizarre season of our lives, and they were ready and rarin’ to go for their Mother’s Day portrait session. FULL of energy and smiles, it was easy to capture this family at their best, and even though there were no hugs shared, I still felt the love after their session!
