One of my favourites things about being a photographer is watching your kidlets grow up, year after year, in front of my camera lens. I’ve been photographing this sweet family for 4 years now, since this lovely little girl was just a baby and it makes me smile seeing her grow and change every year.

Last year, they joined me for a sunset session at Centennial Beach; this year, we went for a wander at Deas Island Park and found some beautiful wild flowers (which were gathered relentlessly into a kid-sized bouquet and carried by dad). His daughter was a lovely little chatterbox this year, constantly calling “Hey, Eran!” and bringing me blackberries.

But it was, as always, a real pleasure to catch up with her mama (who I’ve known since my university days) and dad. One of these days, when Covid has run it’s course, hopefully we’ll be able to have a lengthier catch-up date over a family dinner and a glass or two of wine!
