It seems like this year, the beautiful, crisp, sunny fall days have been few and far between. We’ve see wind storms, epic rain, and flooding, and I’ve truly been missing those autumn days where a light breeze rustles the leaves on the ground, and the sunlight turns everything golden.

This day with the Tang family was one of a handful of those gorgeous fall days – and this was AFTER rescheduling due to rain! But rescheduling was worth it because Deas Island Park was absolutely glowing with autumnal glory. We had beautiful light, gorgeous leaves, perfect temperatures and SO MUCH FUN.

Every year, I have the honour and joy of photographing this family, and every year, I’m always struck by the beautiful love and connections that they all have. The laughs are always genuine, the smiles are never forced, the hugs are natural. And the photos, as you can see, are unforgettable.
