With the rainy weather upon us, isn’t it time for a sweet in-home newborn photography session to warm your heart?

Beautiful baby M was welcomed to the world in early September, and after photographing her parents at their sunset maternity session, I couldn’t wait to meet this gorgeous and much-loved little girl. As with all my newborn sessions, I met her new parents in the comfort of their own home and we used the available light and settings there. These days, I don’t bring much to newborn sessions in terms of props, preferring to focus on the brand relationships being forged, and all the sweet, little details of newborn babies.

Mom and dad were definitely sleep-deprived after their first weeks at home with baby M, but that was completely overshadowed by their joy and love for their little girl. Dad was working hard to keep up at his job and also support his partner at home with their new baby and I could tell that he was exhausted. But I could also tell that there was nothing else he’d rather be doing. Both of them were so gentle with their baby girl, and literally never stopped smiling the entire time I was there.

I felt so welcomed in their home, and truly loved creating these images for them. Thank you Britt & Miguel for inviting me into your lives and trusting me to capture these precious moments with your new baby girl!
