I keep telling the kids that I photograph that they need to stop growing and getting older, but no one seems to be listening to me! Doreann’s kids, for example, just keep getting taller and more mature year after year to the point where it was an absolute dream for me to photograph these polite, well-mannered, handsome young men this year (okay, so maybe kids growing up isn’t such a bad thing after all!)

Centennial Beach and Boundary Bay Regional Park were truly showing off in all their golden sunset glory for this session. The fields were just sparkling and the beach boasted some beautiful pastel colours. And this family delighted me with their cute stories about one another and the ease of photographing them this year. There was barely a bad photo in the bunch – but these were their favourites this year.
