I wear many hats as a business owner – photographer, website designer, social media manager, editor, customer service rep, bookkeeper. I also wear many hats in my “real” life, and one of those hats is volunteering in my son’s school library one morning a week. And imagine my delight when one of the adorable people at my chilly December maternity session turned out to be a child from my library volunteer shift!
And even more delightful, it turns out this sweet girl is going to be a big sister!
I met up with her and her mom, dad and two puppies on a brisk wintery morning at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen. The wind was biting, but we did our best to stay tucked away from the water, except for a few token photos that we squared away quickly on the beach before our fingers and toes froze! Everyone was such a trooper, including their two dogs who shivered their way through the session (just like the rest of us!). And even though we were all cold, we still managed to capture some lovely little moments as this family of 3 prepares to be a family of 4!
I look forward to catching up with them, now in 2023 (and hopefully in a warmer setting) when I meet their new baby!
