It wasn’t the sunshiniest, most beautiful day to be down at Centennial Beach for photos, but there’s something about the moodiness and colours of this session that I really, truly adore. Cozy sweaters & jackets, warm tones & the backdrop of a very “English moor”-esque Boundary Bay on a chilly autumn day and I’m totally digging these photos!

Not to mention, Nina and her family were so easy to work with. From the moment we met in the parking lot to scouting some tucked away spots, they were conversational, easy-going and ready for whatever I asked of them. Even when the kids started to get end-of-the-session goofy, Nina and her husband just rolled their eyes and went with it. I just love how their easy-going nature is reflected in all of their images.

And I’m thrilled to discover that Centennial Beach can be just as picturesque on a cool, cloudy, autumn day as it is on a warm, golden, sunlit evening. We really do live in a beautiful place!
