Now that the weather is starting to perk up a bit and spring is in the air, I feel like I’m starting to emerge from the cozy cocoon of home. I enjoy my off season, but this is the time of year when the wheels start to turn again and I get antsy to be behind the camera, making memories for people.

It feels like the first spring season in a long time when things actually feel “normal” after the chaos of Covid, and I’m excited to see what 2023 brings! I’m hopeful that I’ll be meeting tons of new families, and have already noticed an uptick in requests for sessions. While you’re starting to plan your spring and summer, don’t forget to add family photos to your calendar – especially if you’ve got extended family in town! A family photos session is the perfect occasion to bring together the entire crew – grandparents, grandkids, aunts, uncles, cousins – you name it!

South Delta boasts many beautiful locations that are perfect for a large family photo session – Centennial Beach, Deas Island Park, and Diefenbaker Park are just a few of my favourites. But I’m also open to exploring your favourite locations too, or even gathering at the family home to capture everyone together in a familiar setting.

My family photography sessions generally including up to 6 family members, for a 45 minute outdoor session in South Delta for $375 + GST. But for a small fee of $25 + GST extra per person (and I often discount that rate for groups of 10+), you can definitely include everyone in your extended family.
