Once upon a time, I did a newborn session for this family when their eldest son was born. And year after year, I get to watch their family grow and change. I wonder if their kids will still love playing Five Nice, Five Silly with me when they’re graduating from high school or university? (I mean, the parents still play along so there’s hope!)

The trees at Dienfenbaker Park played a big role in Jasmine’s session this year – lots of climbing and swinging, jumping and posing. Jasmine even commented on social media that one photo of her kids looked like it belonged in a Target photo frame! (Can you guess which one?) That’s one of the best things about this family. They know that the best photos arise when the kids are just being themselves – when they’re hanging off of trees, or laughing at fart jokes, or comforting the youngest sibling.

I hope that this crew will still be having fun together at my photo shoots for years to come – it’s always a treat to see them on my booking calendar!
