If you need an adorably squishy baby face to help start your new year off with a smile, look no further than this post! This smiley little guy was the star of the show at Vanessa’s fall family mini session, with his bright eyes, chin dimple and endless grins. Obviously, his mom and dad were head-over-heels in love with him, but by the end of the session, I was also trying to concoct ways that I could pocket his squishy little self and take him home with me!

I first met Vanessa and her beautiful family right after her son was born, when she and her husband invited me to their charming float home in Ladner to capture some newborn lifestyle photos. It was one of my favourite newborn sessions ever, set in a gorgeous location with endless amounts of love and joy in the air. Even their dogs seemed to be full of excitement for baby B’s arrival – and they joined us at this session as well!

I sincerely hope I get to photograph Vanessa and her family again in the future. It’s such an honour to watch a family grow and change over time, and I can’t wait to see this smiley boy again!
