Headshots by the Water with Stephanie

I first had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie back in 2021, and this summer she reached out again for a fresh set of headshots for her website. It was such a treat to reconnect and help her update her images as she prepares to launch her business full time as a personal transformation coach. I’m genuinely so excited for her and this next chapter!

We met up one warm evening down at Centennial Beach, one of my favourite spots for natural light and variety. Stephanie loves being near the water, and with blue being her signature colour, it was the perfect fit. We wandered between different locations, from the ocean’s edge to the peaceful duck pond, creating a range of looks that felt aligned with her brand and personality.

One thing that makes Stephanie a particularly unique (and trusting!) client is that she doesn’t like to choose her own images. Instead, she leaves that part entirely to me. That kind of trust is incredibly rare and something I don’t take lightly. Fortunately, Stephanie and I get along so well (we’re both empathic individuals and seem to be on the same wavelength a lot of the time) which makes the process feel natural and collaborative, even when she’s not the one making the final selects.

I’m so proud of what we created together and honoured to be part of her journey. Stephanie, thank you for trusting me (again!) to help bring your vision to life. I can’t wait to see where this new path takes you!
