Every summer, I look forward to these sessions more than almost anything else I photograph. There’s just something about golden hour at Centennial Beach — the light, the salt air, families being completely themselves — that produces some of the most honest, beautiful images of the year.
I’m excited to announce that Summer Sunset Sessions are now open for booking, running from mid-June through early September.
What to Expect
We’ll meet at Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen — one of the most stunning natural settings in the Lower Mainland — and spend 45–60 minutes together during golden hour, roughly 45–60 minutes before sunset. That means warm, glowing light and long, dreamy shadows across the fields, the paths along the dunes, and right down on the sand.
These aren’t sit-still-and-smile sessions. They’re for families who like to run, explore, play — maybe even get a little wet. You’ll walk away with both candid moments and beautiful posed portraits, all bathed in that unmistakable summer light.

One thing to keep in mind: these sessions happen at golden hour, which means a late evening start. Kids will be up past bedtime – but in my experience, that little burst of evening energy is exactly what makes these sessions so fun and so real.
